Southwest Missouri is a short run from our base, and it is some of the most productive deer country in the region — a patchwork of cattle pasture, oak ridges and the broken hill country along the Elk River and its tributaries. Deer hit on a pasture edge here have a habit of making it into the roughest draw on the property before bedding.
We fly recovery around Joplin, Webb City, Carthage, Neosho, Monett, Cassville, Anderson and Noel, and we handle a steady load of cattle inventory work through the same counties — wooded pasture headcounts that a truck and a four-wheeler cannot do honestly.
Missouri recovery flights follow Missouri Department of Conservation rules along with federal Part 107 requirements. Aircraft cannot be used to aid in taking wildlife, so every flight is post-shot recovery or a survey. Note that we do not fly across the line into Kansas, where drone recovery is not permitted.
See the full coverage map. We do not fly recovery in Kansas — it is not permitted there.
